Imani Phillips
Born in Houston, Texas, Imani has been creating art for as long as she can remember. She works across different media, from pencil, pastel, and paint, turning blank canvases into detailed art.
From Art to Digital Media
Using her artistic eye, Imani pursued digital communications, earning an AAS in Digital Media from Houston Community College. She launched a freelance media agency specializing in photography, video, and design to help small businesses elevate their brand presence. While continuing her work as a visual artist and exhibiting at galleries across Houston, she balances her creativity across art, design, and digital media.
She runs The Moni Gallery, her fine art and media agency brand; Madd Canvas, a behind-the-scenes visual podcast exploring the creative process; and Bleakville, a horror-inspired graphic novel about saving animals, now available on Webtoons.
